A record of his burial hasn't been found but as he lived in Wallingford, died 11 years before his wife and she did not remarry and is buried in this cemetery, it is likely that they were buried next to each other.

Samuel was the son of Ebenezer Blakeslee (1664-1735) and his third wife Hannah Lupton (1665-1749). In about 1716 at Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut, Samuel married Elizabeth Doolittle (1700-1772). They had 13 children, or more depending upon the source:

Jemima
Susanna (Andrew Parker)
Elizabeth (Gamaliel Parker)
Abigail (Elijah Ackley)
Zerviah (Nathaniel Ives)
Phebe (died after 16 days)
Thankful (Justus Holt)
Hannah (died at birth)
Joseph (Lois Ives)
Miriam (Joshua How)
Samuel (died unmarried at age 19)
Hannah (James Marks)
Phebe (Moses Barnes)

One source adds a daughter Obiedience with a birth date that doesn't work with the others, but if adjusted (1722 instead of 1723) she would fit between Elizabeth and Abigail.
