Mrs. Sylvia L. Coblentz, 84, Brethern Home, Greenville, Ohio, died at 5:50 p.m., Sunday, July 10, 1977 at the Brethern Home Medical Center, Greenville, following a lenghty illness.
Mrs. Coblentz was born August 22,1892 in Auglaise County, Ohio, the daughter of Wesley and Sarah Pierce Cain. She lived her entire married life in Darke County and was a member of the Oakland Curch of the Brethern. Her husband, Nathan, died in 1946. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Simon (May) Rhoades of Union City route 1 and Mrs. Paul (Marceille) Hyland of Kettering, Ohio; three sons Lonnie of Union City route 1, Robert of Versailles, Ohio route 2 and Wayne of Greenville; 25 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Almeada) Hampshire of Union City route 1; one brother, Wilbur Cain of Buckeye, Arizona. Three sons, Glen, Floyd and Raymond, are deceased. Services will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, Greenville, with the Rev. Fred Bernhard officiating. Burial will be in the Lisbon Cemetary, north of Union City.
