New Holstein -- Ewald Greve, 61, who was employed on the farm of Herman Witt, 2 miles west of this city, passed away suddenly of a heart attack at 3 p.m. today.

The deceased was born April 23, 1880 a son of Mr. and Mrs. Claus Greve. He was a lifelong resident of this city with the exception of one year in Montana. He operated a farm in the east end of the city limits until about a year ago, when he sold the farm and since has been employed by farmers in this vicinity.

Survivors are two brothers, Otto, Stratford, and Hubert, Elkhart Lake, one sister, Mrs. Art Fluhr of this city; six nieces and 3 nephews. His parents, and two sisters, Meta and Jennie preceded him in death.

The deceased was unmarried. He was a member of the Equitable Reserve association.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Erbe-Hoffmann funeral Home, with the Rev. A. Geo. Schmid pastor of the Evangelical and Reformed church officiating. Burial was in the local cemetery.
