Lawrence E. (Jack) Diver, 80, Neosho Falls, died yesterday at the Veterans' Hospital in Sheridan, Wyo. Mr. Diver had been in failing health the past two years.
Mr. Diver was born May 12, 1891, at Fort Scott. He came to Neosho Falls with his parents at an early age and had lived in the area since.
He farmed and operated a truck for a number of years.
He was married to Alta Crisler on September 24, 1964.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Iola.
Survivors include his widow of the home; a brother, Dr. Robert Diver, Coffeyville, and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hodge, Yates Center, and Mrs. Anna Ott, Iola.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Waugh-Yokum Funeral Home.
