Biographical Information:

The Barbour Collection of Connecticut Town Vital Records by Lorraine Cook White reports that the marriage of Jacob to Elizabeth Haskell (aka Hascal, Hascall, Haskiel) took place on November 17th 1768 in Killingly, Connecticut.

Elizabeth was the daughter of Squire Hascall (born 1 Jun 1706 in Middleborough, Plymouth, Massachusetts, died 8 Jun 1774 in Killingly, Windham, Connecticut) and his wife, Elizabeth (nee Chandler, married about 1732, died 5 Oct 1787).

Elizabeth Haskell Leavens was the great granddaughter of Patience Soule (Memorial #124601265), who was the daughter of George Soule, passenger on the Mayflower and 35th signer of the Mayflower Compact.
