Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Widner Neely; a son William Neely of Freeport, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. H. C. Edwards of Newell and Mrs. J. O. Kirby of Abeline, Texas; a sister, Miss Betty Neely of Pine Mountain; three brothers, Charles Neely of LaGrange, Emmett Neely of Goodwater, John Will Neely of Chipley, Ga.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p. m. on June 6 from Quattlebaums Chapel, with Rev. E. L. McFee and Rev. Earle Trent officiating. Interment was in Cedar-wood Cemetery, with Quattlebaums Funeral Home in charge.
