Charles Nichols Briskey, 69, died suddenly Tuesday evening at 6:30 at his shop. Funeral services will be held at Quattlebaums Funeral Home at two o'clock Thursday afternoon with the Rev. Otis E. Kirby in charge. Interment will follow in the city cemetery.
Mr. Briskey is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Kate Dennis, of Roanoke, Misses Bessie and Mary Briskey, of Atlanta, and Mrs. Louise Vines, of Birmingham; one son, Raymond Briskey, of Shelbyville, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. M. M. Stephens, of Milltown; a brother, Tom Briskey, of West Point, Ga.; and nine grandchildren.
