William C. "Bill" Henry, Sr. 72, Geneseo, died Saturday, March 13, 1999 at Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo, Henry County, Illinois.

A Masonic service was held Tuesday, March 16, by the Andalusia Masonic Lodge followed by cremation rites.

Interment was in Dycusburg Cemetery in Dycusburg, KY on Saturday, March 20, 1999, at 2:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Geneseo's Christmas in April through Central Bank.

Mr. Henry was born in Dycusburg, KY, the son of Marion and Beulah (Duncan) Henry.

He married Lois Brownfield on December 13, 1947 in Morganfield, KY.

Bill was employed in Rosiclare in the mines then moved to the Quad Cities and worked at Allied Stone, Milan as a diesel mechanic, retiring in 1990.

He served in the US Army during W.W.II.

Survivors include his wife, Lois of Geneseo; sons and daughters-in-law, William Jr. and Dee Henry, Geneseo and Charles and Amy Henry, Davenport; daughters and son-in law, Glenice Myers and Dianne and Dave Johnson, all of Geneseo; six grandchildren, three great-grand children, four sisters, Edna Hendrick, Serulean, KY, Helen Terr, Salem KY, Dorothy Henry, Marion, KY and Clarice Coleman, Marion, KY and a brother Onie C. Henry, Rosiclare, IL.
