Funeral services for Mrs. R. A. Bond were held at Weir Methodist Church January 2. Officiating was Rev. Farrell Mills.
Burial was in the church cemetery, Jordan Funeral Home of Kosciusko in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bond died December 31 at Tyler Holmes Hospital, following an extended illness. She was 79 years old.
She was a native of Choctaw County and the wife of the late R. A. Bond. She was a member of Weir Methodist Church.
Surviving are eight children, Mrs. Sue Huffman, Winona; Mrs. Myrtle Irving, Weir; Mrs. Dot Weeks, Louisville, Kentucky; Glynn Bond, Taylorsville Gerald Bond, Ackerman: Derwin Bond, Mobile, Alabama and Mrs. Carolyn Roberts and Grady Bond, both of Meridian; Also, a brother, Sherman Rabon, Doddsville; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
