Cloin was a farmer and grew up in Douglas County. He enjoyed bluegrass music and loved playing and singing with his guitar. Cloin enjoyed visiting with people and especially going out to Wal-Mart. He was a Christian and a member of the Ava General Baptist Church in Ava.
Cloin was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John & Chalmer Dickison and one nephew, Larry Dean Dickison.
Cloin is survived by one brother & wife, Lyle & Marybelle Dickison, Ava, MO, sister-in-law, Evelyn Dickison, Ava, MO, two nephews, Charles Dickison, Willow Springs, MO and Lynn Dickison, Springfield, MO, three nieces, Marie Bristol & Brenda Dye both of Ava, MO and Linda Bass, Rogersville, MO.
Funeral services for Cloin will be Monday, June 8, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Richville, MO. Visitation will be Sunday, June 7, 2009 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn & Pastor Dennis Shumate. Memorials may be made to Gideons International or to the charity of choice.
