Visitation and viewing will begin at noon Sunday at the Chancy-Walters Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Fleming United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dave Moorman officiating. Burial will be at the Haxtun Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Fleming United Methodist Church.Mrs. Andrews was born Dec.16, 1905, to John and Minnie (Kaepernik) Schachterle at the family home 15 miles southwest of Haxtun. She attended Rockland School.
She married Harry Andrews on June 14, 1931, in Rockland. They farmed and ranched south of Fleming for several years before mov ing south of Brush, where they also ranched. In 1940 they moved to Rockland, continuing to farm and ranch until 1973, when they moved to Haxtun. In 1993 Mrs. Andrews moved to Sterling.
She was a member of the Rockland Methodist Church, which later joined the Fleming Methodist Church, and a member of the Ladies WSCS Church Group.
She is survived by two sons, John and wife Elaine of Albuquerque, N.M., and James and wife Ruth of Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, May Lou Smylie and husband Don of Douglas, Wyo., and Anna Mae Pyle and husband Leroy of Sterling; a sister, Alma Ride and husband Paul of Fleming; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry in 1992; two sisters, Mabel Fester and Ethel Brooks; and a brother, Arthur Schachterle.
