Graveside funeral services for Robert Lynn Burns, a former resident, was held here Friday afternoon, October 11, at 1:30, in the Maple Cemetery, with the Rev. Allen Vancil officiating. H.S. Smith Funeral Home in charge of services.
He was born May 21 1917, the son of the late Lester and Mary Burns of this city, and died in the Vallejo County Hospital, Vallejo, Calif. at the age of 57 years.
Mr. Burns attended Caruthersville schools and graduated in the Class of 1934. He has been living in California for a number of years.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by several uncles, aunts and cousins.
