After being a patient in the state hospital at Trenton for six months, following a nervous breakdown due to overstudy and work, Lyman Hendershot died Friday. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hendershot of this place. The body was brought here Saturday and private funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon from the home of his parents, by Rev J.E. Washabaugh. Burial was in Washington Cemetery. Besides his parents he is survived by a brother, Wade Hendershot, of the Army; two sisters, Mrs. John Wilson of Philipsburg and Mrs. Harry Apgar of Easton.
