John Chew, age 76, died last Sunday evening at the county asylum. The body was taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Phillips, west of town. He is survived by three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Arabia church, Rev. C.C. Griggs officiating. Burial in Arabia cemetery. He was never married.
