Seaf D. "Buck" Olive Jr., age 84, of Central Heights, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2005.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 5-7 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Mike Colston officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
He was a champion stock car driver. He also owned Buck Olive Motors and was a respected cattle buyer of Buck Olive Farms.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred L. Olive, of Florence; son, Bobby Olive and wife, Wyvonne; daughter, Sue Anderson; and daughter-in-law, Faye Olive, all of Florence; sisters, Ann McInlyre, of Talladega, Ala., and Martha Grigsby, of Killen, Ala.; grandchildren, Johnny Olive, Matthew Olive, Christin Hitchcock, Patrick Anderson, Andrew Buck Olive, Emily Fant; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Olive; daughter, Sammie Jean Olive; brother, Douglas Gean Olive; and sister, Mozella Haddock.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Olive, Matthew Olive, Patrick Anderson, Andrew Buck Olive, Zane Olive, Kenneth Brewer and Jimmy Mitchell. Eddie Burtwell will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Morrison Funeral Home, of Central Heights, is directing.
