Annie Ruth Olive McIntyre, 89, of Talladega, Ala., passed away Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Northeast RMC Hospital, Anniston, Ala., after an extended illness.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today, Monday, Sept. 9, at Greenview Funeral home. The funeral will be Sept. 10 at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Howard McIntyre and Doug McIntyre officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walton Brown McIntyre, and grandson, Joey.
Survivors include sons, Walton Douglas McIntyre (Gail) and Howard Lynn McIntyre (Dixie); daughters, Shelia Miller, (Earl), Rhoda Gortney, (Gary), Melonie Weaver, (Todd); sister, Martha Grigsby; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
