Mrs. Damerow Passes Away at Age of 82 Years
A venerable and kind old lady passed to her reward last Friday when Mrs. Caroline Kube, died 24 Oct 1917 at the home of her son, Otto, at the age of 82 years. Deceased was born: 04 Oct 1835, Brandenburg, Germany, and came to America with her parents (names unknown) when but a child. She was married to Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Damerow, 18 Feb 1854 in Theresa, Dodge County, Wisconsin where they lived for some time. Her husband died fourteen years ago and since that time she has been living with her son, Mr. Otto Damerow. Six children mourn the death of their mother, two sons, Otto and Julius, both living in the vincinity of Cedarburg, and four daughters, Mrs. Vossler of Milwaukee, Mrs. Pfleger of Cedarburg, Mrs. Altenhof of Milwaukee and Mrs. Sauthoff of Granville. The funeral service took place Monday at the Ev. Lutheran Trinity Church, Rev. Lange officiating. She if buried at Zur Ruhe Cemetery, Cedarburg, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin
