Carl Friedrich Damerow, an old and respected citizen of the town of Jackson, died at his home near Franks Post Office, on Saturday last, aged 77 years. Deceased was born in Natelfitz, Pommern Preusen, province of Pommerania, Germany, Jan 13, 1823, and came to America in 1843. In 1854 he was married to Caroline Kube at Theresa, Dodge County, who with seven children, five daughters and two sons, survive him. The funeral took place last Monday afternoon and was very largely attended.
He is buried in Zur Ruhl Cemetery, Cedarburg.
