Edith Allen Rites Held In Peshastin
Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Methodist church Peshastin for Edith Dortha Allen, 30, who passed away Tuesday in a hospital in Wenatchee after a year of illness. She was born in Wakita, Okla., March 28, 1907 and moved to Cashmere with her parents some years later. The family has lived in Peshastin for the past 13 years. She is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Lee Allen, a brother, Kenneth and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Snyder all of Peshastin and another sister, Mrs. Grace Ransom of Kansas. The services were in charge of the Kuelbs Funeral Home and interment was in the Cashmere.
