Mr. LuGrange Adkins, 62, died Saturday morning (June 4, 2005) at his residence following a short illness.

He was a native of Ozora, Fla and had lived most of his life in Florida. He was a son to the late Lucius Hoyt Adkins. He was employed with Savannah Steel Company.

The survivors include his mother, Gladys Henderson of Richmond Hill, GA; four brothers, Ricky Adkins (wife Amy) of Ellabell, Victor Adkins (wife Torey) of Waycross, Danny Henderson (wife Jenny) of Pembroke, and Eddie Saxton (wife Roberta) of Odessa, TX; five sisters, Peggy Shuman (husband Autry), Barbara Burgess of Ellabell, Verily Adkins and Loretta Adkins of Louisiana, and Sharon Behel of Florence, Ala; two aunts, Willie Lee of Ellabell and Becky Parmer of Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Music Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
