Lorraine was born in Georgia to Ellis Levi Barnard and Hattie Mae McKenzie. She was the 5th child of six. Wife of the late Thomas (Bud) Foster until his death on November 27, 1985 and Leroy Barstow. Beloved Mother of Frances (Foster) Blasquez and Shyrl (Foster) Bellas. Adored mother-in-law of Daryl Blasquez. Lorraine had five grandchildren who worshipped her: Thomas and Timothy Blasquez and Jacob, Erik and Melinda Weed. She left her five cherished great-grandchildren and soon to be six: Julia, Joshua, Melissa, Emily, Kimberly and (baby to be) Weed. She was a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was an active member of the San Lorenzo Sociables for twenty years. Always the life of the party she loved to dress up and to travel. A few years ago she was able to see Hawaii, Greece, Turkey and Thailand which created so many memories of her joy of life. Lorraine was a mom and best friend to so many, but it was our prividege to have her as our own. Per her request a private celebration of her life will be held by invitation only, at a later date.
