FUNERAL IS FRIDAY
Funeral services will be conducted for William T. Pilkington, 74-year-old founder of Mountain Truck Sales at Sprague, at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
He died early yesterday morning at his North Kanawha street home after a lengthy illness. He recently had returned from Johns Hopkins hospital in Baltimore, where he had undergone treatment for two months.
Pilkington recently was succeeded as president of the motor company by his son, William T. Pilkington, Jr., only surviving member of his immediate family. Two grand-children also survive, along with one sister, Mrs. Ada B. Fleck, of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Born in Phillipsburg, Pa., he was an inspector for the New River company before entering the motor business. He was also a member of the McDonald, Pa., Masonic lodge.
