Mary Nickels
Mary (BECKER) NICKELS, 82, Beech Grove, died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital, Beech rove.
She was born Dec. 2, 1901, in Fulton to Charles and Edith SWIHART BECKER. She was married to Hubert Earl NICKELS, a schoolteacher, who survives. Mrs. Nickels lived in Beech Grove 53 years. She was a member of the Beech Grove United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Dorcas Circle, O.E.S., Pi Beta Phi Sorority, a graduate of Franklin College, a charter member of Beech Grove Travel Club and Beech Grove Homemakers Club.
Surviving with the husband are two daughters, Maryruth NICKELS, Beech Grove, and Marjorie McCAFFREY, Lafayette; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Beech Grove United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at Little and Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove. Graveside services are schedulted for 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rochester.
