Alma was the daughter of Margaret Rebecca Johnson, who died in Enterprise, Ala., 27 Feb 1950, at age 57. Alma had two sisters and six brothers, according to her mother's obituary, March 1, in the Dothan Eagle.

Mrs. Alma Pouncey Annin, 79, of Perry, Florida, died Saturday, November 3, 2001, at Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center.
A native of Coffee Springs, Alabama, Mrs. Annin had lived in Perry since 1946, moving there from Enterprise, Alabama. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Perry, was a member of the Perry Lady Elks Auxiliary, founder of Pouncey's Restaurant, and was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by one daughter, Joyce and (John) Pedrick of High Springs, Florida; one step-daughter, Alice Carol Boatwright of Lauraville, Florida; one step-son, Robert Annin Jr. of Mayo; two grandchildren, Michelle Green and Gary Owen; three step-grandchildren, Heath Annin, Leslie J. Boatwright, and Robin McMullen; and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held on November 6, 2001, at 2 p.m., at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Baker officiating. Interment followed at Pineview Memorial Gardens.
Joe P. Burns Funeral Home, Perry Chapel, was in charge of arrangements."
Her first husband was Mack Cameron Pouncey (1919-1971), with whom she founded Pouncey's Restaurant in 1949. They sold it in the 1950s. It remains in operation in Perry under its original name.
Her second husband was Robert Leslie Annin (1915-1994).
