Birth: ANTE 1746
Death: ANTE 4-3-1790 WILKES CO GEORGIA
Service Source: CLARK, STATE RECS OF NC, VOL 22, P 177
Service Description: 1) TOOK OATH OF ALLEGIANCE
In January of 2024, descendant Linda Davis received a genealogical request on the Davis line from "Phil Fisher in Mississippi" as he and another researcher, Ben Jones, have traced Own Griffin's mama, Mary Green's line to Charlemagne, the Holy Roman Empire of Western Europe, dating mid-8th century or so. His research, if correct, connects to another established line for The Order of Charlemagne.
Short version: Mary Green's grandfather was Thomas Green II born on the ship "Speedwell" coming to America. His wife was Martha Filmer born in England 1640, whose father was Maj Heney Filmer. Henry Filmer was a descendant of a long line of royalty and noble families descended from William the Conqueror and the Emperor Charlemagne. This genealogy has been well-established.
