Passing of a Respected Citizen
Died--At his home about four miles south of Kosse, Mr. John F. Thompson, aged 65 years. Mr. Thompson was born in Mississippi and came to Texas at the age of twenty years, and has been a citizen of Limestone County ever since. A few years after he came here he married a daughter of Judge B. F. Burns; his wife and five children survive him, two sons and three daughters, all of whom are married and live in this state.
He was a farmer and quiet citizen. He was buried at the old Eutaw cemetery, one mile east of town.
Rev. R. R. Crockett officiated at the burial services.
