Services for Larkin N. Vines, 81, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Friendship Baptist Church with the Revs. Thurman Williams and Paul Browning officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, with Masonic graveside rites.

He was a Winn Parish native and member of Friendship Baptist Church and Eastern Star Lodge No. 151, F. & A. M.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nola Vines of Winnfield; four sons, Ernest Vines of Joyce, James Vines and Virgil Vines, both of Winnfield, and Eugene Vines of Pearl River; a brother, Neal Vines of Dodson; two sisters, Mrs. Christine Wheat of Columbia and Mrs. Videll Robinson of Jonesboro; 11 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mr. Vines' grandsons.
