Roberta Lea Jaycox, 51, died as the result of an automobile accident near Fremont, last Sunday. The funeral was last Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church, Hebron, with Pastor Donna Deffle officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hebron. Mrs. Jaycox was the daughter of George and Hazel (Mumby) Mewes and was born November 21, 1940 at Fairbury. She graduated from Hairbury High School in 1958. She was united in marriage to Gary R. Jaycox on September 16, 1962 at Hebron. To this union two children were born. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mumby and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Mewes, and one sister, Arlene. She is survived by her husband, Gary, a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Lisa) Novak, Hastings (NE), a son, Rex, Hebron (NE), her parents, three brothers Glenn (Beatrice), Alvin (Montrose, CO), and Harold (Boise, ID), two sisters, Mrs Marvin (Eileen) Lewis (Nederland, CO), and Mrs Darrell (Twila) Collins (Plymouth, NE), two grandsons, Anthony and Andrew Novak (Hastings, NE), and numerous nieces and nephews. The Price Funeral Home, Hebron, was in charge of arrangements.
