Ruby O. Price Kelley, 95, of Amarillo died Saturday, June 13, 2009.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hillside Christian Church Chapel with her grandson, the Rev. Kyle Kelley of Sunnyvale, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Ruby was born in McLean and attended school in Childress before moving to Amarillo, where she spent many years working for Blackburn Brothers and Colbert's Clothiers in various ladies departments. A loving "Mother" and "Grandmother," Ruby loved music and was self-taught in playing the piano. She enjoyed working in the garden and was blessed with family gatherings. She was truly loved and will be deeply missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, C.A. "Pop" Price and wife Cora Anna; two sisters, Velma Propes and Viola Kloepfer; a brother, J.B. Price; a grandson, Dean Kelley Jr.; and two nephews, Jerry Green and Dickie Propes.

Survivors include two sons, Dean Kelley Sr. and Billy Kelley, both of Amarillo; a daughter, Patsy Hutto of Houston; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Dean Kelley Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of Happy State Bank, 3423 S. Soncy Road, Amarillo, TX 79119.
