Obituary:
Mrs. Eva Dolan died Tuesday.
Mrs. Eva Dolan, 83, died in her sleep early Tuesday morning. Her husband found her in her chair when he got up. Mrs Dolan had been a resident of Bent county for the past 27 years.
Eva Mary Hull was born Mar 28, 1887 at Ionia, Kan. to Adam & Susan Hull. She moved with her family to Montrose when she was just a child. She had spent most of her life in Montrose and Southeastern Colorado areas.
She married William T Dolan on Nov 22, 1922 at Montrose.
She was a member of the Christian Science Church, the Tri C Club and the Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her husband, W.T.Dolan; two sons, Kenneth of Topeka, Kan. and Walter of Stockton, Mo; one daughter Mrs Wilma Butner, Clear Lake, Iowa and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services are being held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 o'clock in the United Methodist Church. Mrs. Rhetta Eddleman, Christain Science reader, of Lamar, will conduct the service.
Mrs. Hazel Six and Mrs Emma Earl will sing "Mother's evening Prayer" and "Nearer My God to Thee". Mrs. Iola Woods will be the organist.
Casket bearers will be Wayne Nelson, Clyde Reynolds, Emmett Boyer, Maurice Dolan, Stephen Dolan and Robert Dolan.
Burial will be in the Las Animas Cemetery with Byron Griffy of Crist Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
