Edward Talmadge "Tub" Adams was a son of the late Van Buren Adams and Dorothy J. Strickland Adams.

He graduated from Thomasville High School and was a former member of the Thomasville Jaycees.
He was a member of the United States National Guard and of the Baptist faith. Before retiring, he owned and operated Tub's Dog House in Thomasville for many years.
He moved from Thomasville to Knoxville 18 months ago.

Other family include sons, Marty Thomas and Johnathan Scott Adams;
mother, Dorothy Jane Adams;
sisters, Betty Joe Haller, Loette Adams, Dale Hall;
brothers Rocky Adams and Curtis Adams

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Thomas Van "Tommy" Adams.
