Aaron Chidester
PRICE-Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Joseph Aaron Chidester, age 88, passed away Oct. 22, 2007 at Castleview Hospital in Price.
He was born Aug. 27, 1919 in Bluebell, Utah to Joseph H. and Sarah Mabel Ide Chidester.
Aaron married Emma Jean Scovill, Feb. 13, 1954 in Orangeville, Utah, and their marriage was later solemnized in Manti LDS Temple.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Aaron was a retired member of the United Mine Workers of America Kaiser Steel Local # 9958. He shared a genuine concern for his family and especially caring for the animals he raised.
Survived by his wife, Emma Chidester, Price; four sons and four daughters, James (Kim) Chidester, Valley Head, Ala., Vanessa (Mohamid) Bolourforosh, Frisco, Texas, Darryl K. Chidester, Price, Jeffery (Stacie) Chidester, Layton, Bonnie (Don) Sadler, Price, Michel (Vanessa) Chidester, Pocatello, Idaho, Rosanne (Cameron) Boren, Vernal, Diana M. Chidester, Price, sister, Eunice (Don) Johnson, Price; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James; and sister, Donna Mortensen.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, 10 a.m., Price Sixth LDS Ward Chapel. Family was at Mitchell Funeral Home Friday evening from 6-7 p.m. and at the church Saturday one hour prior to service. Interment, Orangeville City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price.
