Price, UT-Eunice Chidester Johnson, age 84, passed away at her home surrounded by loving family members on January 3, 2013.
Eunice was born February 26, 1928 in Price to Joseph and Mabel Ide Chidester.
On February 1, 1948, she married Don Clinton Johnson and their marriage was later solemnized. Eunice and Don enjoyed their years working in the Manti LDS Temple prior to his passing on August 21, 2010.
Eunice was an intelligent high school graduate who believed in education and, while raising five children, earned a bachelor's degree from Utah State University. After graduating with honors from USU, she taught at Durrant and Castle Heights Elementary. She was a dedicated educator who fondly recalled her experiences in local first and fifth grade classrooms, especially her students, long after retiring from the Carbon School District.

She spent hours with her grandchildren not only practicing the alphabet and multiplication tables, but instilling the value of learning into their bright young minds.
Eunice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Eunice is survived by her loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, who filled her life with joy until the end.
