Mary Kirkbride Armstrong Wade was the daughter of John Kirkbride, Jr. and Margaret Peel

Mary married John Christopher Armstrong on September 8, 1840, in Carlisle, Cumberland, England. Based on the ages of the children found in the LDS files they emigrated between 1841 and 1846. They traveled to Utah in the Abraham O. Smoot wagon train, leaving Elkhorn River 27 miles west of Winter Quarters) on 18 June 1847. They arrived on 25-29 September 1847.
