Her husband was Thomas Verdayne Seals, son of Eli & Dolice (Liddle) Seals and they were parents of Dennis Alan who married Georgia Lewis, Linda Elaine, Kathryn Louise who married Eldon Harold Blythe, and the infant son Michael Verdayne, who was born and died March 8, 1954. Thomas Seals has remarried.

Patricia was married on Jan. 14, 1950 to Thomas Verdayne Seals in West Salem Illinois. She died on March 9, 1954 the day after she gave birth to their son Michael Verdayne Seals, who was born and died on March 8, 1954; Patricia was only 20 years old. She died at the Mt. Carmel Hospital.
