Daniel M. Allison

Alliance - Daniel M. Allison, 73, of RD 5, Alliance, died in City Hospital at 10 a.m. Tuesday after a three - year illness. Born in Burgettstown, Pa., Nov. 29, 1892, the son of Franklin and Amanda Ralston Allison, he was a well - known dairy farmer for 50 years and retired five years ago. He was a member of Bethany United Presbyterian Church of Alliance and Mile Branch Grange. He is survived by his wife, Ruby; four sons; Donald R. and M. Dale of Alliance, Kenneth F. of Shenandoah, W. Va., and J. Paul of Westville; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Clark and Ellsworth of Burgettstown, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Hays of Burgettstown. Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Cassaday and Turkle Funeral Home of Alliance with Rev. Cloyd Cress officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
