Died Monday morning, January 4, 1909, at his home nine miles southeast of Severy, William Dersham, aged 68 years.
Mr. Dersham was one of the early settlers of the section of country south of here in Elk county, coming here in the 70's and making this his home since. He has been ill for some time and while his death was expected it causes a gloom to be cast in the neighborhood that he has made his home so long.
Funeral services were held at the Christian church at Howard yesterday after which the remains were interred in the Howard cemetery. - Severyite.
