ABSALON DEL REAL (a.k.a. Guero / Hoppy) Aged 79, unexpectedly passed away October 9, 2006. Born in Jerome, AZ, resided most of his life in the Bay Area. Proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Retiree of Varian Associates. He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Edna; six children, Norma, Marc, Sandy, Jacklynn, Lupe and Rachel; five siblings, many grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and one cantankerous cat, Gato. As per his wishes, there will be no formal services. He will be missed.
