JANETTE LOOMIS CAGWIN
SYLVAN BEACH - Mrs. Janette Loomis Cagwin, 82, wife of William Cagwin, 366 Stone St., Oneida, died Oct. 19, 1945, in Oneida City Hospital from the effects of a broken hip on Oct. 5.
The couple conducted a wholesale ice cream business in Sylvan Beach for 47 years. The Cagwin's spent their winters in Florida as long as health would permit.
She was born in Higginsville, May 5, 1863, and was a member of Oneida Baptist Church.
Surviving are the husband, a son, Harry, Oneida, and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Paul Cagwin, Worchester, Mass.
Rites will be held in the Campbell funeral Home, Oneida, tomorrow with the Rev. Lee A. Howe, Baptist pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Higginsville.
