Abraham's death was attributed to a fire caused when the ashes from the pipe he was smoking caught the corn shucks on fire in the corn crib where he was shucking corn. Immigrated to America in 1854. He was first a member of the First Protestant United Church of Christ in New Braunfels and then the Beitel Memorial Lutheran Church in Fratt Texas which is now part of San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.

He was the son of Isaac Bueche and born in Malleray, Canton Bern, Switzerland. His siblings were: from his father's 1st wife: Isaac Aime Bueche and from the second wife: Albin, Lucien, Alphonse, and Jules Aime Bueche. Abraham served in the regular army of France for seven months and in the French reserves for seven years.

He married Anna Barbara "Belena" Kaderli on 23 February 1848 in Moelche, Switzerland. They immigrated to United States with their family on February 12, 1854 after a three month voyage, arriving in Indianola, and settled in New Braunfels, Comal County, Texas. It is thought that they may have sailed from a French port on a French ship (according to The Bremers and Their Kin).
