STAUNTON -- William Alexander Brownlee, 91, formerly of 108 E. Hampton St., died Tuesday morning (June 19) at King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was born Jan. 23, 1899, in Augusta County, a son of William Henry and Laura Williams Brownlee.
He was retired from Landram Cleaners.
Mr. Brownlee was a member of Central United Methodist Church, where he was a former member of the official board and head usher for 55 years.
Surviving are his widow, Lena Owens Brownlee, a resident of Staunton Manor Nursing Home, and a nephew.
Burial at Thornrose Cemetery.
