She was the daughter of the late James Peeples and Hilda Bowers Peeples.
Mrs. Cangelosi was a homemaker, a member of The Italian Club in Savannah, GA, was active with the Hampton County Senior Citizens and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
Married to the late Joseph A. Cangelosi, she is survived by her daughter, Brenda Matimoe and husband John F. Mattimoe of Danville, CA and one grandson, John Joseph Mattimoe and wife Meredith of Monterey, CA.
Interment was in Hopewell Cemetery.
