Willis Grizzel, 55, employed on the Charles and Reed Ranch, 8 miles SW of Lakeview, was fatally injured Thursday afternoon when a colt he was breaking, kicked him in the chest. He died enroute to the hospital in Lakeview.
Grizzel, a long time Lake county resident was an old hand at "bronc-busting". The accident occured as he was unharnessing two colts.
He is survived by his widow Bessie Lofftus Grizzel; three sons, Columbus, Wayne and Dean Grizzel and three grandchildren.
