Cecelia Louise (Conway) Walsh, 88, wife of the late Stewart E. Walsh, died Feb. 29, 1992m, at a Bangor health-care center. She was born in Bangor, Nov. 25, 1903, the daughter of Patrick and Bridget (McGuff) Conway. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, St. John's Council of Catholic Women, the Ave Maria Circle Daughters of Isabella, and the Legion of Mary. Mrs. Walsh had been a longtime employee of New England Telephone Co.

Surviving are one sister, Teresa F. Cochrane of Bangor; two nieces, Patricia K. Cochrane of Bangor, Mrs. Michael (Helen) Ford of Westchester, Pa.; three nephews, John C. Cochrane and Robert D. Cochrane, both of Bangor, James R. Cochrane of Ellsworth.

Friends may call 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church (St. Jude's Chapel) with the Rev. Maurice T. Lebel, pastor, celebrant. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
