Wilbur R. Arledge, Hillsboro Rt. 2, died Sunday morning at Highland District Hospital here. A member of the Eagles Lodge, he worked for REA ( South Central Power Co. ) for more than 20 years, retiring in 1966. He was 63. He was born in Highland County near Winkle, the son of George and Cora Wiggins Arledge. He is survived by three sons, two daughters, and three brothers, Hobart and Jess both of Hillsboro and George, New Burlington. Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Evans Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with burial at Barnes Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 P.M.

Wilbur was married the first time to Mabel Irene Wilkin on August 10 1931 which ended in divorce. His second marriage was to Helen Louise Brewster on May 5, 1951. They were married only a few years and on April 20, 1954 she passed away. He then married Rena Vay Wright on December 22, 1958.
