Mr. Harry Lee Colwell age 80 of Rogers Rd., Blairsville passed away on Friday, May 22, 2009 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Colwell was born on Sept. 29, 1928 in Union County, the son of the late Andy Colwell and the late Julie Loudermilk Colwell. He was a native and lifelong resident of Union County and before his retirement he was employed with the State of Georgia Revenue service. Harry was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Colwell and a sister, Willie Drake. Mr. Colwell was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at 1 p.m. from the Mountain View Chapel. Interment followed in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
