Child was the first "Kuhman(n)" to be buried in Pavilion Cemetery. She now lies next to her parents (there was once a small stone marker (by my witness -RCK), bearing the name "Grace", but nothing more. She died as an infant (possibly, still-born - the exact date of birth and death is recorded in the KUHMAN family Bible). It is supposed that she was named to honor her mother's youngest sister, "Grace Myrtle Peterson". c.f. Peterson / Pederson gavesites located in "Graceland Cemetery, Chicago, IL". That child is presumed to have been the daughter of John C. Peterson and Bertha Gielow: who died on April 3rd, 1898, aged to 2-yrs, 1 mo, 8 days (due to scarlet fever, per cemetery records" file #1678, Lot: S 1/2 957, Section G, Area: 180, Owner: Knud Peterson/Pederson, Location: 4E).
