Patricia Ann Bowser, 58, of Catalpa Road, Chicora, formerly of Dutch Hill and Sligo, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday at her home after being ill since November 2008.
She was born in Dutch Hill in Clarion County, Oct. 7, 1950, and was a daughter of the late Samuel Claude "Dutch" Bowser and Velma Pearl Villiers Bowser.
She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and a 1970 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School.
She enjoyed her spoon collection and was a Steelers and Pirates fan.
She enjoyed going on bus trips with the Adventure Club in Butler and was proud to be able to maintain her own home.
She is survived by Terry K. and Rhonda R. Bowser of Chicora, where she made her home, Ryan K. Bowser of Butler, Trish R. Hurley and Corey T. of Chicora; a number of cousins; and many friends. Also surviving is her American bulldog Harley.
BOWSER Friends of Patricia Ann Bowser, who died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Richard d. Hillis funeral home, Petrolia. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wade Berkley, pastor of Fairview United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dutch Hill.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
