Myerstown, Nov. 27--Mrs. Alfred S. Greenawalt (nee Wilhelm) died early Sunday morning at her home on South Railroad street, after a long illness of cancer of the stomach, aged 53 years. Mrs. Greenawalt had been ill nearly seven months, and at times her suffering was intense, and death came as a relief. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wilhelm and was a native of Host, Berks County. Prior to her marriage to Mr. Greenawalt the deceased was the widow of the late Henry Peiffer. She was married to Mr. Greenawalt three years ago. Her husband and a sister, Amelia, wife of Adam Bahney, of town, survive. The funeral will be held on Thursday morning , Nov. 30. Services will be conducted at the house at 9 o'clock, the Rev. E. S. Leinbach of Womelsdorf; Rev. Dr. J. Lewis Fluck and Rev. A. E. Gobble officiating. Dinner will be served at the Bahney House from 10 to 11:30 o'clock, after which the cortege will proceed to Host Church, where further services will be held. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Director Isaac N. Bahney has charge.
