Helen M. Earnest, 96, of Rush County, passed away at 2:20 PM, on June 11, 2009 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville.
Helen was born May 26, 1913 in Rush Co., IN. to Bearl and Cecil (Coffin) Addison. She married Howard R. Earnest on August 19, 1934, he preceeded her in death on March 19, 2008.
She was an Elementary school teacher many years in Rush County at both Webb & Manilla Schools. She was a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Rush County & Indiana State retired teacher's Association's, Walker Twp. Homemakers group and the Rush Memorial hospital auxillary. Helen was a Carthage High School graduate in 1931 and recieved her teacher's certificate from Butler University. She spent most of her life in the Arlington community & spent 27 years wintering in Ft. Myers, FL.
She leaves behind her Sons; H. Richard & wife Claudia of Campbellsburg, KY, Allen Chad & wife Elesa of Ocean Springs, Miss., Marvin Keith & wife Jill of Westminister, S.C., Daughter; Wanda Arlene Cress of Clemson, S.C., 10 grandchidlren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her Husband, parents & Brother; Donald Addison.
